- 500 Grams Kacche Aam ( Raw Mango)
- 300 Grams Jaggery
- 1/2 Teaspoon onion Seeds/Kalonji
- 1/2 Teaspoon Fennel Seeds/Saunf
- 4 Red chilli
- 1/2 Tablespoon Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Mustard Oil
How to Make Aam Ka Meetha Achar Recipe
To make sweet mango pickle, first we have to peel the raw mangoes, take out there seeds and then chop in small pieces.
Then we have to take a pan and heat some oil add kalonji (onion seeds) and saunf (fennel seeds) into it and wait for them to produce crackle sound.
The moment you can hear the crackling sound then take few red chilies and break them into halves and put into the hot oil.
Let the chili turn a little black. When the chilies have changed there color add the raw mango pieces.
When you have added the raw mango into it, add the jaggery pieces, salt and 1 cup of water.
Turn the flame to medium and let the ingredients come to a boil.
Now, when your mixture is boiling, turn the flame low and let it on simmer for about 15 -20 minutes and let the mangoes cook properly in the jaggery solution and turn soft.
