  • 1 Kg Mango
  • 1 Kg Sugar
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/4 Tea Spoon Sauce
  • 4-5 Pieces Cadamom
  • Salt As Per Taste

How to Make

  1. To make Mango Murabba, first take all the mango and keep them dipped in water for few hours. Now after some time, strain the water and peel of the skin of the mango and keep the inner part in a separate bowl.
  2. Cut pieces of mango a litter bigger than medium size and poke the pieces using a fork or knife.
  3. After completing this process, take water in vessel and put all the mango pieces in it. After this add salt in and leave it like that overnight.
  4. Next day separate the mango pieces and clean it with fresh water almost 3-4 times. Now take a pot and fill it with water and keep it on stove for boiling. After few minutes put the mango pieces in the boiling water and let them boil.
  5. After boiling for a while, strain the mango from the water. Now keep all the boiled mango pieces in a separate bowl and add sugar and saffron and cover it.
  6. Now put this mixture on the stove for 10 to 15 minutes and let it cook. Let this mixture cook until the liquid thickens.
  7. Within few minutes your Mango Murabba is ready. Let it cool down and store it in a container. You can use it according to your usage.
