- 200 gram Gobi (cauliflower)
- 250 gram Potatos
- 1 Piece Hing
- 1 Piece Ginger
- 3 Green Chillies
- 1/2 Tea Spoon Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 Tea Spoon Cumin
- 1 Tea Spoon Coriander Powder
- 1 Tea Spoon Dried Fenugreek Leaves
- 1/2 Tea Spoon Red Chili
- 1/2 Tea Spoon Garam Masala
- 2 Tea Spoon Oil
- Salt According to the taste
How to Make
Before preparing, wash Gobi properly. Using the knife, cut the flowers of Gobi separately. Then pare off the potatoes and cut them in a proper shape.
Take a pan, add oil and heat it. In hot oil put cumin seeds. Once cumin seeds are golden-brown then add Gobi, Coriander, Chilli, Ginger. Mix them well. Saute the mixture for around 2-3 minutes.
Add dried fenugreek leaves to the mixture and saute it well. Once this is done, add the sauted mixture to the Aloo Gobi and mix them well.
Then, add red chilli, and salt as per your taste. Saute the vegetables well. Add little amount of water and leave the pan with vegetables over fire for a while.
After 4 to 5minutes check if the vegetables are being mellowed well. If they are mashed then slow down the fire and if not then let them on the same fire. Finally add Garam Masala and dry mango powder and mix it properly.
Let the dish be on the flame for 2-3 minutes and then turn off the flame. Your tasty and tempting dish is ready. Pour the dish in a plate and sprinkle coriander over it. Serve it with roti or paratha.
