Chicken Biryani is a Mughlai dish. This dish is very famous in India. People who eat chicken or non-veg, surely loves this dish very much. It takes time to prepare this dish but the result which comes out is very delicious and yummy. Whether guest comes at your house or for any function it can be easily made within less time. This dish is one of its own kinds. Chicken has both proteins and fats which are beneficial for people with lean physique. Chicken also provides energy to the body. Generally chicken is the specialty of every party. Chicken has many useful proteins which are good for our body. By following the below-given procedures make this extremely delicious chicken Biryani.
Time taken for Making Chicken Biryani
By following the above procedures it will take 30-40 minutes for preparation and 1 hour to cook. To make this dish there are many other ways but if followed the above steps it will take 1 and 1/2hour approximately.
Number of Servings for Chicken Biryani
If followed the above-given procedures this would be enough for 5-6 members.
- 1/2 Kg Chicken
- 1/2 Kg Basmati Rice
- 1/2 Cup Curd
- 2-3 Green Chilli
- Coriander Leaves
- 2 Tea Spoon Red Chili Powder
- 50 Grams Ginger
- 30 Grams Garlic
- 2 Tea Spoon Garam Masala
- Salt As per Taste
- 1 Lemon
- 6-7 Pieces Cardamon
- Pieces Cinnamon
- 3 Pieces Ellachi
- 3 Tea Spoon Ghee
- 2 Onion
- 3 Tea Spoon Milk
How to Make
First rinse the chicken and rice very well. Now finely dice the onions and fry it properly. Now add ginger and garlic paste into it.
Now add salt chilies, Garam Masala, curd, ginger, garlic and onion paste. Mix everything very well.
Now add lemon juice, green chilies, coriander, pudina and oil into it. Then mix it very well. Then for 10 to 20 minutes keep it aside.
Take the rinsed rice and add ¼ cup of water and keep it on stove. Add ellachi, cardamom, coriander, pudina leaves and lemon juice into it and cook it on low flame. When the rice is nicely cooked, strain the water from rice.
Take a pan and put the chicken pieces into it with water and keep it on medium flame to get it cooked.
After the chicken is cooked add rice into it. On the top of it add fried onions, coriander, pudina leaves, and mix all the ingredients. After mixing everything add milk and food color.
After mixing everything well, cover the utensil and put a clean cloth so that steam doesn’t comes out.
Keep it on low flame for 10 to 20 minutes
