Chilli Chicken Chinese Style
- 4 Pieces Chicken Breast Chopped Into One Inch Bits
- 5 Table Spoon Corn Starch
- 1 Egg
- 2 Table Spoon Vinegar
- 2 Table Spoon Soya Sauce
- Salt As Per Taste
- 6 Green Chilies Slit It in Length ways
- 4 Garlic Cloves Chopped Finely
- 1 Green Pepper De-seeded and Roughly Chopped
- 1 Shallot Diagonally sliced
- ½ Cup Water
- Oil For Deep Frying
How to Make
To make Chilli Chicken Chinese Style, first we have to marinate the chicken. To marinate the chicken take a bowl and add 4 tablespoons of cornstarch, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon soya sauce, 1 tablespoon vinegar and ½ teaspoon salt and mix the ingredients well.
After the mixture is ready for marination add the chicken pieces into and mix well for a minute or two and set aside for almost ½ hour.
After ½ an hour take a frying pan and fill the oil almost 2 inch from the base and let it heat well.
When the oil has heated up properly, don’t forget to put a small piece of chicken and check if the chicken is over heated or not. If the oil is properly heated add the chicken pieces in batches and fry them properly till they get a golden brownish color.
After the pieces are properly fried, strain the oil and keep them on a tissue or paper towel so that oil can be soaked properly.
After all the chicken pieces are properly fried up remove the oil from the frying pan letting almost 2 table spoon remain in it or further usage.
Heat the oil in the frying pan and add green chillies, green pepper, garlic and shallot and stir fry it for almost 40 seconds.
Then add vinegar and soya sauce and mix it quickly and add cornstarch water into it.
After few minutes the sauce will start to thicken up. If the sauce becomes too thick add some water and mix.
After the sauce is properly cooked and bubbles starts appearing add the fried chicken pieces into it and stir well for almost 2 minutes. When chicken is properly mixed turn off the stove and put the chicken into a bowl.
Garnish it with finely chopped coriander leaves on the top and your Chili Chicken in Chinese style is ready to be served.
