Chilli Chicken Gravy

Chilli chicken gravy has a unique blend of various spices with roasted chicken. It’s a spicy and mouthwatering dish loved by everyone and tastes best if eaten with basmati rice or rumali roti.

  • 500 Grams Boneless Chicken
  • 2 Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 2 Green Pepper
  • 2 Onions
  • 3-4 Green Chillies
  • 2 Tablespoon Soya Sauce
  • 3 Tablespoon Corn Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoon Tomato Ketchup
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Sugar
  • Salt As Per Taste
  • Oil For Frying
  • Spring Onion For Garnish

How to Make

  1. First, take the chicken and clean it properly under water and keep aside.
  2. Then chop onions and pepper into 2" pieces, slit the green chillies and make a paste with 2 tbsp corn flour and water.
  3. After this add half the ginger garlic paste, 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon vinegar, salt and pepper.
  4. Then take the chicken pieces and apply the mixture properly on both the sides of chicken and marinate it for 20 minutes.
  5. After your chicken is marinated take a frying pan, then add oil and heat it for deep frying the chicken.
  6. Take chicken pieces and deep fry them. When the chicken pieces are properly and crisply fried keep them on a kitchen roll or tissue and keep it aside.
  7. Then take a pan and heat 2 teaspoon oil and add onions, green chillies and sauté until the onions turn golden brown. When your onions are properly fried, add the rest of the ginger-garlic paste and fry it well.
  8. After you are done add the chicken, soya, vinegar, sauce, ketchup, sugar, salt, pepper, 1 tablespoon of the corn flour with water and add it to the chicken and mix everything well. Let it boil until it the dish gets thickens.
  9. Your, chilli chicken curry is ready. Take it out in a bowl and serve it with finely chopped spring onions and serve hot.
