Queen Elizabeth is soon to host UK-India Year of Culture launch at Buckingham Palace. For the same, Amitabh Bachchan from India, was called to mark his presence with a special invitation by Queen and Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh.

Sources confirmed that Big B got the invitation from Queen Elizabeth II
Big B’s publicist confirmed to the news, “Yes, Mr Bachchan has been extended a rare invitation by Queen Elizabeth and Buckingham Palace to grace the UK-India Cultural Year reception. Unfortunately, however, he will be unable to attend due to prior commitments.”
Sources say that Amitabh Bachchan has denied this proposal because of his tight schedule. He also extends his regret to not be able to fly to London.
“Prior commitments are making it impossible for him to fly to London for the gala. He has already extended his regret to the invitation, citing pre-scheduled commitments, but is honoured to receive a special invite from Buckingham Palace.” confirmed the sources.
What makes Mr. Bachchan refuse to the invitation?
Mr. Bachchan is higly occupied with his work. His hectic schedule includes the trailer launch of Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar 3 in the first week of March.
