Fish Biryani Pakistani Style
- 700-1000 Grams Fish
- 500 Grams Rice Soaked In Water
- 1 Cup Oil
- 1 Cup Yogurt
- 2-3 Tomatoes Chopped
- 2-3 Onions Chopped
- 1 Medium Garlic Crushed
- 2 Ginger Crushed
- 2-5 Green Chillies
- ½ Cup Coriander Leaves Chopped
- ½ Cup Mint Chopped
- 3-4 Teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt To taste
- Chilli Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Haldi
- 1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder
- 4 Pieces Dried Plum
- 2 Brown Cardamoms
- 5 Green Cardamoms
- 10 Cloves
- 1 Teaspoon Black pepper
- 2 Teaspoon Cumin
- 3 Tej Patta
How to Make
First, take the rice in a bowl and let it soak for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes take the rice and keep it on boil adding salt.
Then take a bowl and add ginger, garlic, lemon juice, yogurt and all the spices and mix well. This mixture will be used to marinate our fish.
After your mixture for marination is ready, then take the fish and coat it well with this mixture on both sides and keep it for 1 hour.
Then take a pan and put oil into it. After few minutes when the oil gets heated add onions into it and mix it well till they turn golden brown in color.
After this add tomatoes and fry it for another 5 minutes, when you find the mixture is properly fried add marinated fish and green chilies to it and cook on low flame till the fish gets soft and cooked. Kindly avoid over stirring.
Now take a large pan and add a layer of rice and prepared fish curry. Afterward, sprinkle freshly chopped coriander and mint leaves over it and let it cook on low flame for 5 to 10 minutes.
