Gajar ka Halwa
- 1 kg Carrots
- 240 grams Sugar
- 240 grams Mewa
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 tea spoon Desi ghee
- 1 tea soon Raisins
- 5 to 6 Cashews
- 5 to 6 Cardamom
How to Make
Wash the carrots and clean them. Then peel off its skin and grate the carrots.
Put the pan on gas and put mewa to it and saute it. When its sauted, then keep this mewa aside.
Add milk to the pan and boil it. Add the grated carrots to milk. Let it mix until carrots and milk become a mixture. When its cooked, add sugar.
After this, keep the mixture moving. Soon carrot will leave its natural water. Let the milk and carrot mixture boil properly. Then add mewa, cashews, raisins etc to let it on burner. This way halwa will become very delicious.
Let it be on flame for around for 3 to 4 minutes and add cardamom to it. Then turn off the flame. After a while put halwa in a serving bowl and serve it.
