How Much Just Egg Equals One Egg
A new egg product has recently hit the market and it has people asking, how much Just Egg equals one egg? Just Egg is a plant-based egg made from mung bean protein isolate. It has no cholesterol and is said to have a comparable taste and texture to that of a real egg.
So how does this new product measure up? Just Egg states on their website that one serving (3 tablespoons) is the equivalent of one large egg. But how does that translate into actual measurements?
To put it simply, 3 tablespoons of Just Egg is about the same as 1/4 cup of liquidegg whites. This means that if a recipe calls for one whole egg, you can use 1/4 cup of Just Egg in its place.
