Hyderabadi Biryani

Hyderabadi Biryani becomes tasty because of the vegetables in it. Seasonal vegetables works as a compliment to this dish.

  • 2 cups Basmati Rice
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 Onions
  • 2 teaspoon Cashews
  • 2 teaspoon Almonds
  • 1 teaspoon Ghee
  • 2 teaspoon Raisins
  • 3 Black Cardamom
  • 3 Bay Leaf
  • 2-4 Cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger and Garlic Taste
  • 2 teaspoon Biryani Masala Powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 2 to 3 Potatos
  • 1/4 cup Cauliflower
  • 3/4 cup Carrots
  • 1 cup Curd
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Leaves
  • 2 teaspoon Cream

How to Make

  1. Wash the rice properly and soak them for half an hour. Cut onions finely and chop ginger too
  2. In a boiler pour 4 spoons of ghee and heat it. Add cumin seeds, Cardamom, bay leaves, cloves. Cashews, almonds, raisins etc and saute them till reddish in color
  3. 3. After 2 minutes add onions till they turn golden brown. Then add ginger paste and mix it well. Then add red chilli and salt. After this, add all the finely chopped vegetables and cook it well. Leave it on the flame till all the vegetables are cooked. Mix the mixture properly.
  4. Put rice to the mixture and 4 cups of water to the mixture. Once it is boiled lower the flame
  5. When rice is properly cooked, turn off the flame. Now Hyderabadi Biryani is ready and sprinkle cashews, almonds over it.
