Lenovo India has finally announced the company’s new director. Vivek Sharma will be the new appointed director for the Lenovo India, its Data Centre Group (DCG). The company believes, Vivek will serve as an asset to the company. He will be responsible for the company’s growth in India. His work will be to focus on customer solutions and also to manage the product portfolio in all the services like Server, Storage, Software Servic3es and Networking. While serving in the office, he will have to report to Sumir Bhatia, Vice President, Data Centre Group, Asia Pacific, Lenovo. He will further be the part of Lenovo’s India Leadership Team.
Vivek was earlier working on Dimension Data where his responsibility was to work as IDC and Cloud Leader. His major role was on transferring the ITaaS and data center. He has also served a leader at Wipro.
His appointment strengthens the growth of Lenovo globally at data center business.
Vivek Sharma on his appointment in the company said, “I am excited to lead the DCG business is at an inflection point with immense growth potential, both immediate and long term. This space will see a definitive influx of some very disruptive technology.”
