Jeera rice is very tasty and delicious dish. It is very easy to cook. When you feel hungry, and there are not much things available to cook and nobody to cook then jeera rice can be cooked. Anybody can cook jeera rice. To cook jeera rice, it requires no occasion or time. Whenever you are hungry, jeera rice can be cooked or at the time of friends then jeera rice can be cooked. This way your friend will also be happy and you work will be easy. It neither takes much time nor much ingredients. All the ingredients required to cook jeera rice are easily available at home. At times we make plain rice and are left over, then we can make peppery jeera rice instead of wasting. This way rice will not be wasted and also some tasty and delicious dish will be prepared. Follow the given instructions given below so that children and adults, all can cook tasty, delicious, hot jeera rice. So do not think much, gather all the ingredients and make tasty jeera rice and serve it to your friends and relatives.

Jeera Rice

These day jeera rice are considered to be standard rice and are now the important part of party’s meal. At any function or party, jeera rice is a must. It can also be eaten with any vegetable or dal.

Ingredients for Jeera Rice

  • 2 bowl Rice
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • 1/ tea spoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 table spoon Oil
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/2 tea spoon Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tea spoon Chat Masala

How to Make Jeera Rice Recipe

  1. Collect all the ingredients. Soak rice for a while.
  2. Take a pan, keep it on stove and flame must be low. Pour oil in the pan. When oil is heated add jeera, garam masala, finely chopped onions and saute it. Once it is sauted then add ginger garlic paste.
  3. When onion turns golden-brown add tomatoes and saute them till they are properly cooked.
  4. Add turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala etc and also soaked rice and mix them well.
  5. Lower down the flame and let rice cook with the mixture and leave it for some time. Now hot rice are ready to be eaten.
