Kerala Style Chicken Fry
- 1 Kg Chicken
- 5 Tablespoon Coriander Powder
- 3 Tablespoon Chilli Powder
- 1/4 Tablespoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Pepper Powder
- Salt As Per Taste
- 2 Tablespoon Garam Masala
- 4 Tablespoon Ginger paste
- 4 Tablespoon Garlic Paste
- 4 Tomatoes
- 3 Onions
- 6 Chillies
- 3 Tablespoon Soya Sauce
- 4 Tablespoon Oil
- 10 -13 Curry Leaves
How to Make
First, take the chicken and clean it properly. When your chicken is properly cleaned cut few slits on both the sides and keep it aside.
Now we have to make paste for marinating the chicken. For this take a bowl and mix 1 tablespoon garam masala, coriander powder, chili powder, turmeric, pepper powder with 2 tsp garlic and 2 tsp ginger paste. Make a smooth paste of it.
Then take the chicken and apply this paste both inside and outside and keep it for an hour.
Afterwards heat oil in a frying pan. Take the sliced onion, green chilies, curry leaves and let them fry until the onions turn brown.
Then add the remaining ginger and garlic paste, garam masala and chopped tomato (small slices). Stir all the mixture well until oil clears.
After this add soya sauce and place the chicken on it. Then add 1/2 cup water and cover the frying pan with a lid and let it boil.
Don't forget to remove the pan lid two and flip the chicken toll it turns golden and is properly roasted.
