Ingredients for Paneer Butter Masala

  • 250 Grams Paneer/ Cottage Cheese
  • 1 Glass Milk
  • 2 Tea Spoon Poppy seeds
  • 5 Pieces Almond
  • 5 Pieces Cashews
  • Coconut Shredded
  • 2 Tea Spoon Melon Seeds
  • 1 Piece Clove
  • Cardamom Both Large And Small
  • 7-8 Tea Spoon Black pepper
  • 1 Piece Lentils sugar
  • 2-3 Sharp Leaf
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 Piece Ginger
  • 2-3 Green Chili
  • 1/2 Cup Curd
  • 3 Spoon Cream
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 1 Tea Spoon Coriander Leaves
  • 1 Tea Spoon Red pepper
  • 1/2 Tea Spoon Garam Masala
  • Salt As Per Taste
  • 1/2 Kg Flour
  • 1/4 Tea Spoon Baking soda

How to Make Paneer Butter Masala Recipe

  1. First, cut the onions and grind it well so that a thick paste is formed. Then take almonds, coconut, seeds, cashews, sawdust, pepper, long, cardamom, lentil sugar and grind them very as well to form a thick paste.
  2. After making these pastes keep it in a bowl and cut the paneer/ cottage cheese into triangular shapes.

  4. Take a pan and put few spoons of ghee into it and add Sharp Leaf into it till it gets roasted.
  5. Then add onion paste and fry until light golden brown color doesn’t starts appearing.
  6. Afterwards add the grinded masala paste and fry it for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Then add tomatoes, red chilies, green coriander, salt, turmeric powder and curd into it and let the paste cook and fry until the paste starts releasing ghee. After 1-2 minutes add the paneer including the milk.
  8. Then add a small quantity of water or milk and let it cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
  9. After this turn off the gas knob and put it in a bowl and decorate it with garam masala and grated paneer/cottage cheese.

Note: If we don’t want to use milk then we can use water as its substitute.
