Uttar Pradesh’s CM Yogi Adityanath’s Aim is to Supply “Power to All” by 2018

Since Adityanath has become the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, he withhold the second cabinet meeting. After the slaughterhouse ban decision he has taken another major decision on regarding the power supply across the state. He took this decision in his second cabinet meeting.

He ensures 18 hours of power supply in the rural areas of the Uttar Pradesh state.

In the meeting government has decided to have 24 hours power supply in the district headquarters, claimed by Srikant Sharma and Siddhart Nath Singh.

Uttar Pradesh’s power minister talks, ”Till 2018, our aim is to give 24 hours of power to UP.”

The Chief Minister has directed all the concerned officials to ensure the regular uninterrupted power supply to the villages in Uttar Pradesh. Power supply in the time slot of 6 evening till morning 6 should be mandatory as during this time frame most of the students study. The adequate supply of power will help students to score well. Sharma added, “It is the dream of BJP chief Amit Shah and Chief Minister that every house, every poor and every village get power by 2018.”

The state also has plans to change the transformers across in the 24 hours in all the urban areas and in 148 hours in rural areas. The chief minister has also directed the power department to ensure the replacement of all the defective or burnt transformers. It must be looked over efficiently so that there is not abruptness in the agricultural operations.

The state government has further directed the sugar mills to clear all the pending dues of sugar cane farmers. The estimated pending amount is around INR 6000 Crore. It also says, if the dues aren’t cleared in the provided time slot, then strict action will be taken.
