Yogi Adityanath's Surprise Visit at Lucknow Police Station

It’s not even a week Yogi Adityanath has taken a charge as chief minister of Uttar Pradesh; He is making one decision after another to promote public welfare. On March 19, the new CM Yogi Adityanath took the oath. From closing down illegal slaughterhouses to making Anti-Romeo squads and ordering all government employees to maintain punctuality in office as well as ordering a ban on plastic, pan and pan masala, he is continuously showing that he has come to work seriously for the state development.

UP Police on target of CM

The latest target on his welfare list were the  police stations of the state and he ordered all cops to give complete attention and respect to the people who go to the police stations with their complaints. He also went on a surprise visit to the biggest police station in Lucknow Hazratganj.

He also made a surprise visit to various offices in Lucknow. With this CM is likely to introduce a new style of governance in the state. He visited Hazratganj police station, crime branch and cyber cell. This step was taken to make sure that governance in these offices is carried on in the right spirit as well as in speed. After visiting the Hazratganj police station, he also went to the office of Superintendent of Police from West UP for a surprise inspection. The CM also said that this surprise checks will be continued in the future as well.

Yogi Adityanath is the First Choice

Yogi Adityanath is the five times BJP MP of Gorakhpur and is also known for his provoking comments from time to time. When the BJP form the government in UP, his name came in the race of CM along with union ministers Rajnath Singh, Manoj Sinha and others. But in the meeting for the new UP CM, the party finalised the name of Yogi Adityanath.

As per the sources, CM has suspended over 100 policemen in his inspection to the police stations. Most of these suspensions were in Ghaziabad, Meerut and Noida. In Lucknow, seven inspectors have been suspended.  Mostly constables, have been suspended as per the directives of the DGP to identify the bad fish of the pond and take exemplary action against them.” The directive was issued to all the Superintendents of Police through video conferencing by the state police chief and Principal Secretary Debashish Panda hours after Yogi Adityanath assumed office.
