Apple Inc Hires a Secretive Team to Treat Diabetes

Apple Inc has hired a biomedical engineers to work on the secret mission. The mission by initiated by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. The mission of Apple is now to develop sensors, which treat diabetes. Around 30 people have been working on this project from past five years. Clinical trials are being done in San Francisco. The research team has been asked to develop bio-sensors which monitor the blood sugar levels. Currently, the trick involves the check of regular blood samples from a thumb-prick test to vein extraction. The wearable technology related to blood sugar levels will be similar smart watch or any fitness monitor.

When some official was asked to comment on this matter, he denied such claims and refuted to comment on the matter.

The biomedical engineers are expected to work on the matter at nondescript office situated at Palo Alto, California, which is situated near to the corporate headquarters.

The line between pharmaceuticals and technology is blurring as the companies have joined to take care of chronic disease by using high-technology devices, which tend to combine biology, software and hardware.
