Super Mario Run to be on Android on March 23rd

Super Mario was developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It was introduced in the year 1985 since then it has got various version of the game. Super Mario has been one of the most liked games since years. The Super Mario games follow Mario’s adventures in the fictional Mushroom Kingdom, usually with Mario as the player character. The game has simple plots, typically with Mario rescuing the kidnapped Princess Peach from the primary antagonist. The Super Mario series is a part of the greater Mario franchise.

Super Mario run was introduced in the iPhone, iPad and in iPod touch last year in 2016. Android users waited for the game to be introduced on Android. Finally, the Android users won’t have to wait much longer for this. Nintendo made a promise to launch it in the Android too and now Nintendo has officially announced the game to be launched on Android, in sync with version 2.0 of the game on March 23rd.

The update will bring several new playable characters to Super Mario Run for both iOS and Android.

The game was introduced to iOS to prevent piracy. Though it has not stopped several third party developers from creating, similar free version of the game. Super Mario Run has tons of downloads, the first three level of the game are free and then the further levels of the games are payable, but not many people are paying for it.

Super Mario Run is a traditional two-dimensional game; the whole game is played in a portrait mode. All throughout the game, you are tapping on the screen to move Mario forward to collect coins, jump off coins and step on enemies.
