Xiaomi has recently launched many variants of Smartphone in India. Just in a span of four months, Xiaomi has already got success in its devices which have already been launched and the next device Xiaomi Mi 6 is all set and is awaited to be launched in the mid of April. And to a great extent, there is no full stop on this, there are numerous devices in the queue waiting to release this year. In a survey report by research firm Strategy Analytics, Xiaomi is now the most preferred Smartphone brand for users looking to buy a new device in India.
The Chinese Smartphone maker, Xiaomi came to the Indian Market in 2014, since then it has been continuously making efforts to make a good position in the race of Smartphone in India. For the first time, it has ranked number one by beating Samsung, Apple, Motorola and all other brands. Xiaomi gained 26 per cent share in the most preferred Smartphone brand, Samsung and Apple stand at 12 per cent each and Moto has 7 per cent.
Indian Smartphone Market
As per the reports majority of Indian Smartphone users prefer buying a Smartphone in the price range of Rs 10,000 – Rs 20,000 and only six percent are interested buying handsets above Rs 30,000. When they look for a Smart device they want the latest processor, quality camera, screen resolution and the design.
Xiaomi successfully has been fulfilling these demands in an affordable budget which made it to the number one.
