  • 100 grams Soyabean
  • 250 grams Potato
  • 2 Onion
  • 2 Tomato
  • 1 piece Ginger
  • 6 pieces Garlic
  • 1/4 tea spoon Jeera
  • 1/4 tea spoon Saunf
  • 1/4 tea spoon Methi
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 Green Chilli
  • 1/4 tea spoon Red chilli
  • 1/2 tea spoon Turmeric
  • 1/2 tea spoon Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tea spoon Khatai
  • 1 tea spoon Coriander Powder
  • 2 tea spoon Oil

How to Make

  1. To make soya chunks, soak soya bean in water for some time. By the time peel off potatoes and slice them.
  2. Prepare a paste including tomatoes, onions, ginger, garlic.
  3. In cooker, put some oil and heat it. Add some jeera, and add the paste earlier made to it and saute it. After sauting add salt, chilli, turmeric, khatai, garam masala etc and mix it well. Beware that mixture does not burn.
  4. In this sauted mixture add soaked chunks and ix it well. After this also add chopped potatoes.
  5. Mix it well and then add a cup of water to it. Further close the panel of cooker. Wait for it to whistle. When it gives 2 whistles then turn off the gas.
  6. After a while let pressure from the cooker be out and hot-hot soya chunks are ready. Take it out in a bowl and decorate it with onions and coriander leaves and serve hot.
