Veg Biryani

  • 2 Large Bowl Rice
  • 100 Grams Paneer
  • Curd With Water Strained
  • 2 Onion
  • 1 Ginger
  • 1 Tea Spoon Red pepper
  • Salt As per taste
  • 1 Spoon Cumin
  • 2 Clove
  • 2-3 Sharp Leaves
  • 1 Lentils sugar
  • 2 Tomato
  • 2 Carrot
  • Food Color
  • 3 Tea Spoon Ghee

How to Make

  1. Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it for half an hour. Then finely chop the onions. Grind the ginger into thick paste.
  2. Heat 4 teaspoons of ghee and let it heat for a while, add cumin seeds, cardamom, cloves, sharp leaves, cardamom seeds in it and fry until they become red.
  3. After 2 minutes put add finely chopped onions. When the onion turns into light brown, add ginger paste to it and then add red chilies and salt.
  4. Now add rice in this mixture and add four bowls of water into it and keep it aside. When it comes to boiling, turn the flame low.
  5. When rice is cooked well, turn off the gas.
  6. Now take the tomatoes and cut them in a round circular shape. Apply lubricating in dough and put cashew nuts under the tomato slices and then lay a cottage cheese i.e paneer.
  7. Now put few drops of red food color in a small quantity of rice and make a layer of it afterwards add the plane rice on top of it
  8. After all layers are completely done reverse the vessel and turn it onto a plate.
  9. You’re hot and yummy Veg-Biryani is all ready.


If you wish, you can add on more vegetables in it according to the season. This will make it tastier.
