Vegan Chocolate Cake
- 2 and ½ Cup All-Purpose Flour
- 2 and ½ Cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 and 1/2 Cup Cocoa Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 3 Cup Soy/Almond Milk
- ⅔ Cup Oil
- 2 Tablespoon Apple Vinegar
- 2 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
- ½ Cup Vegan Butter
How to Make
To make vegan chocolate cake first you need to preheat your oven at 350F.
Then take a bowl and put 2½ cups all-Purpose flour,2½ cups white sugar, 1 cup cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon baking powder, ½ teaspoon baking soda and 1 teaspoon salt and mix all the ingredients well and keep it aside.
Take another bowl and put 2⅔ cups soy or almond milk, ⅔ cup oil , 2 tablespoons apple vinegar, 1 tablespoon apple and 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract and whisk all the ingredients properly you can also use a blender to mix the ingredients.
Now mix together the ingredients of both the bowl together which will give us the cake batter. Don’t over mix the batter.
When you are done with mixing put this mixture in a baking tray and pop it into the oven.
Let the mixture get baked for about 40 minutes. Don’t forget to prick a tooth pick in between the cooking process to check if the cake is properly cooked or not. Remember if toothpick comes out clean when pricked it means your cake is ready.
When your cake is ready we need to make a frosting for it. For that take a bowl put in ½ cup vegan butter, 1¼ cup powdered sugar, ¼ cup cocoa powder , 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 - 2 tablespoons non-dairy milk (if needed) and bled all the ingredients well. You can also use a blender. The frosting should look creamy and smooth with no lumps in it.
Now take your cake out on a plate cut the cake it into half in diagonally way.
Take the bottom of the cake first and apply frosting in the middle, then keep the second part of the cake on the top of the base and apply frosting on the top of the cake. After this process is done, apply thick layer of frosting around the cake so that the whole cake is covered with a thick layer frosting.
Your vegan chocolate cake is ready to be served. You can add cheery on the top of the cake if needed.
