Momos Chilli Sauce

Momos Chutney/Sauce is a spicy sauce which is mostly taken along with momos.

  • 145 Grams Tomatoe
  • 3-4 Dry Red Chilies Seed Removed
  • 4-5 Garlic Finely Chopped
  • 1 Sichuan Pepper
  • ½ Tea Spoon Black pepper
  • ½ Tea Spoon Sugar
  • Salt As Per Taste
  • 3 Cups Water

How to Make

  1. Take a pan and put 3 cups of water in it and let it come to boiling point. When the water gets boiled add 2 medium sized tomatoes, 3-4 dry red chilies in it.
  2. Let the tomatoes boil on medium flame for 8-9 minutes.
  3. After the tomatoes get boiled strain the water and allow the tomatoes and red chilies to cool down.
  4. When the tomatoes come at a normal temperature, chop off the head of the tomato and cut it into rough slices and put them in a blender along with its juice.
  5. After this add 1 tea spoon of chopped garlic, ¼ tea spoon black pepper, 1 sichuan pepper , ¼ tea spoon of sugar and salt as per taste in the blender with the tomatoes.
  6. Take out the sauce in a bowl, your momos Chutney/Sauce is all ready to be served with hot and yummy momos.
