  • 1/2 Kg Chicken
  • 1/2 Kg Basmati Rice
  • 1/2 Cup Curd
  • 2-3 Green Chilli
  • Coriander Leaves
  • 2 Tea Spoon Red Chili Powder
  • Pudhina
  • 50 Grams Ginger
  • 30 Grams Garlic
  • 2 Tea Spoon Garam Masala
  • Salt As per Taste
  • 1 Lemon
  • 6-7 Pieces Cardamon
  • Pieces Cinnamon
  • 3 Pieces Ellachi
  • 3 Tea Spoon Ghee
  • 2 Onion
  • 3 Tea Spoon Milk

How to Make

  1. First rinse the chicken and rice very well. Now finely dice the onions and fry it properly. Now add ginger and garlic paste into it.
  2. Now add salt chilies, Garam Masala, curd, ginger, garlic and onion paste. Mix everything very well.
  3. Now add lemon juice, green chilies, coriander, pudina and oil into it. Then mix it very well. Then for 10 to 20 minutes keep it aside.
  4. Take the rinsed rice and add ¼ cup of water and keep it on stove. Add ellachi, cardamom, coriander, pudina leaves and lemon juice into it and cook it on low flame. When the rice is nicely cooked, strain the water from rice.
  5. Take a pan and put the chicken pieces into it with water and keep it on medium flame to get it cooked.
  6. After the chicken is cooked add rice into it. On the top of it add fried onions, coriander, pudina leaves, and mix all the ingredients. After mixing everything add milk and food color.
  7. After mixing everything well, cover the utensil and put a clean cloth so that steam doesn’t comes out.
  8. Keep it on low flame for 10 to 20 minutes
