Fish Fry

Usually fish fry is made in two ways. Be it a Punjabi or Bengali way of cooking fish, both tastes are good and amazing.

  • 1/2 kg Fish
  • 4-5 Green Chillies
  • 1 Piece Ginger
  • 1 Onions
  • 1 tea spoon Coriander Leaves
  • 2 tea spoon Besan
  • 1 tea spoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tea spoon Rice Flour
  • 1 tea spoon Red Chill
  • Salt as per the taste
  • 1 tea spoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 1 tea spoon Ajwain
  • 1 tea spoon Vinegar/Lemon Juice
  • 2 tea spoon Oil

How to Make

  1. Take fish and wash it properly with water. After washing, clean the fish and sprinkle salt and turmeric over it and keep it aside.
  2. In a bowl, add rice flour, ginger paste, coriander leaves, besan, ajwain, lemon juice, red chilli etc and mix them well.
  3. In this bowl add the fish pieces in which salt and turmeric were sprinkled. Mix all the pieces well.
  4. Take a pan. Add oil and heat it. Once the oil is heated, fry the above fish pieces. Also put green chillies for the better taste. Let fish fry properly.
  5. Once fish is fried for round 5 to 10 minutes take it out in a plate. Sprinkle coriander leaves over fish pieces. Hot-hot fish is ready to be served.
